Fresh off their inaugural Midwestern tour, where they headlined the renowned Willy Town Fest in Ohio, KNETX is back with a new sonic gem. Their latest single and accompanying video, 'SOMETHING/NOTHING,' narrates the intricate story of a two-faced lover – one who leaves, yet has left before, and one who promises to return, but when exactly? This captivating composition is the brainchild of Mike Kiddoo, the group's singer and primary songwriter, and producer Justin Mauriello, who lent his expertise to craft the arrangement.
'SOMETHING/NOTHING' is a raw and emotionally charged masterpiece, featuring unforgettable guitar riffs that linger in your memory.
KNETX, a collective of five friends deeply entrenched in the Austin underground rock scene, boasts a lineup that includes Jesse Lee on lead guitar, Chris Brockett on bass, Tom Jackson on drums, Clay Lowe on keys and synth, and Mike Kiddoo taking the lead as the vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Together, they have rekindled the spirit of 90s alternative rock, adding their own modern twist to the genre. Since their debut performance in February 2022, KNETX has been causing a stir in central Texas and beyond.
They've ventured into the Midwest, leaving their mark, and have consistently released scorching-hot singles and music videos, all while tantalizing their eager fanbase with the promise of their forthcoming debut EP. The indie rock scene is undeniably on the cusp of something big with KNETX's electrifying sound.
