The EP features four live tracks, each capturing the raw and authentic energy of that special performance: So You Left Me With A Smile, Until I Die, Back Home, and You & I. But what makes this EP even more intriguing is the involvement of Rinus Gerritsen, the legendary bassist from the Dutch rock band Golden Earring, best known for their hit “Radar Love.” Gerritsen lent his talents to the EP, adding a layer of rock history to Martin's heartfelt music.

Martin's journey to this moment is nothing short of remarkable. Music has always been his passion, but like many, he faced the pressures of societal expectations and self-doubt. These challenges kept him from pursuing his musical dreams for years. It wasn't until the age of 49 that Martin finally took the leap and released his debut album, proving that it's never too late to follow your heart.
The ten songs on To Feel Is To Believe have a long and storied past. The oldest track, Ice Flower, was written by Martin in his parents' bedroom in Hengelo in the late 1990s. The other songs were born in various places that have shaped his life, including Groningen, Amsterdam, Loenen aan de Vecht, and Ruurlo—places where Martin studied, lived, and grew as a person.
Martin's love for melodic pop and rock shines through in his music, with beautiful harmonies and choirs never far behind. The album title, To Feel Is To Believe, perfectly encapsulates the journey Martin has taken. It’s a reminder that if you truly feel something, you must believe in it and pursue it, no matter how long it takes.
Martin Kuiper's story is an inspiring testament to the power of perseverance and the belief that dreams can be realized at any age. With To Hear Is To Believe, he invites us all to share in the joy of his musical journey.
